Longtime friends and the dynamic duo of the 90s hit TV sitcom Martin, Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold, will soon add another bullet point to their extensive resumes—talk show hosts. Yes, Gina and Pam…oops, I mean Tisha and Tichina are teaming up to host their own talk show, Tisha and Tichina Have Issues.
The ladies made their first on-screen debut together in the horror/musical Little Shop of Horrors (1986). Then, a few years later, they starred as best friends Gina Waters and Pamela James alongside funnyman Martin Lawrence. After the popular sitcom ended, Tisha and Tichina have graced our screens in countless roles.
Now, they’re stepping into the talk-show circuit together. Tisha and Tichina Have Issues will focus on bringing a fresh spin to the celebrity interviews, as the hosts will engage in more intimate and candid discussions with their guests.
When asked about the new venture in an interview with ET, Tisha said, “Tichina and I have worked together and known each other so long…we finish each other’s jokes!” She went on to say, “I’m happy that me and my bestie will have the opportunity to create and enjoy a platform where our audience can get intimate with us — and when our celebrity guests come through, they can bring on a friend so we can all get to know them in a more fun, open and candid way.”
Tichina added, “I am pleased to be working with Thinkfactory and my long-time friend and colleague Tisha Campbell on our dream project. Never before has television played a greater role in our communities, and I feel certain that connecting through our brand of positivity and laughter is sure to shine through to our forever faithful fans.”
Currently, the show is still in development and being shopped around to different networks and streaming services.
