In devastating news, it has been reported that legendary comedian/actor/game show host Bob Saget has passed away at the age of 65.
Saget, who was on the early leg of his comedy tour and had performed on Saturday night in Jacksonville, FL , was found unresponsive on Sunday night, while staying at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando.
The Orange County Sheriff’s department responded to the call of an “unresponsive man”. Once the emergency responders arrived and made their assessment, Saget was pronounced dead on the scene.

Saget participated in a huge part of my childhood, while I was growing up in the 90s, when he played the role of Danny Tanner on the hit sitcom, Full House, which also starred John Stamos and Candace Cameron-Bure from 1987-1995. During that time, he also hosted America’s Funniest Home Videos from 1989-1997. Saget, later reprised his role as the lovable Danny Tanner in Netflix‘s Full House reboot, Fuller House, which lasted for 5 seasons.

Saget’s immediate family which consists of his wife, Kelly Rizzo, his three children: Aubrey, Jennifer, and Lara, and his ex-wife, Sherri Kramer, released the following statement:
“We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today,” the Saget family wrote in a statement. “He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.”
“Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world,” the family continued.
It has also been reported that there did not appear to be any foul play or evidence of drug use found at the scene.
Bob Saget will truly be missed.
