Chris Brown Sued for $20 Million By A Woman Who Claims That The Singer Drugged and Raped Her

It seems like trouble is always lurking somewhere around controversial singer Chris Brown.

It has been recently reported that the entertainer has been slapped with a $20 million lawsuit from an anonymous woman who claims that Brown drugged and raped her on Diddy’s yacht on Star Island in Miami right before the New Year’s holiday back in December 2020.

In court documents, the woman states that she met Brown through a mutual male friend. Brown insisted that she come over to hang out with him on Diddy’s yacht, and she agreed. She went on to say that once she arrived, Brown handed her a drink in a red Solo cup, and the two sat down and talked for awhile. The woman, who’s also an aspiring singer, stated that Brown was giving her tips and advice on the industry. In her statement, the woman went on to say that Brown prepared and poured her a second drink. Once she consumed the beverage, she started to feel “a sudden unexplained change in consciousness”. She went on to explain that she “felt disoriented, physically unstable, and started to fall in and out of sleep.”

According to the accuser, Brown took her, “drugged” and “half-asleep” to a bedroom, closed the door, and blocked her from leaving. She continued, stating that the father of 2 threw her on the bed and started kissing her. The woman says that she mumbled for him to stop, but he ignored her protests and penetrated her. When he was finished, the woman claims that Brown immediately got up and told her that he was done.

After the incident, Brown contacted the woman and confessed that he was “faded” and couldn’t remember the details of what took place. But, according to the woman, he demanded her to take a Plan B, the drug that prevents pregnancy, if taken in a certain amount of time after unprotected intercourse.

Brown has a reputation for not always being a gentleman to the ladies. Back in 2009 he was charged with violently assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, right before they were supposed to appear at the Grammy Awards that year.

A couple of years after the Rihanna incident, Brown entered a relationship with stylist-at-the-time/model, Karrueche Tran. He and Tran had a tumultuous on-again-off-again relationship. Tran alleged that their relationship had its violent moments. She accused Brown of punching her in the stomach, pushing her down the stairs, and making death threats toward her. In 2017, Tran was granted a restraining order against the singer.

Although Brown has had a messy past, by projecting violence toward the women in his life, he took to social media to claim his innocence on this most recent allegation.

Brown did not address the claims directly; he did post the following comment: “I hope y’all see this pattern,” he wrote, adding a blue cap emoji (slang for lying). “Whenever I’m releasing music or projects, THEY try to pull some real bulls**t.”
