Former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst Dies By Suicide at Age 30

In extremely sad news, it has been reported that Cheslie Kryst, who was crowned as Miss USA back in 2019, has passed away from an apparent suicide, after she fell from her 9th floor high-rise apartment in New York City.

Early this morning, New York City PD responded to a 911 call about a person who had fallen from the apartment building. Once the officers and paramedics arrived, they pronounced the unknown person, at the time, dead on the scene. After further investigation, police confirmed that the deceased person was believed to be Cheslie Kryst.

A few hours before her death, Kryst posted a cryptic message on her Instagram page, that read: “May this day bring you rest and peace.”

Kryst also left, what is believed to be a suicide note, in which she stated that she was leaving all her belongings to her mother.

Kryst’s family released a statement after her death was confirmed: “Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength. She cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined.”

Kryst won Miss USA back in 2019 as Miss North Carolina. She was also an attorney and worked as a correspondent for celebrity news show, Extra, at the time of her death.
