The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Porsha Williams, set social media ablaze when she announced that she was engaged to her former friend’s husband. Woooo, chile, that’s a lot right there!
Anyway, I will admit that I’m not an avid watcher of RHOA; I usually get my dish on the show from other content creators who make it their business to sit in front of the tube and come back and report on what the ladies are up to this week.
But, honey, when I woke up to this news about little Ms. Porsha Williams and her shenanigans, I must say I was shocked.

Now, just to give you the Cliff Notes (young folks don’t know what that is) version of what’s going on. Basically, Porsha announced, through Instagram, of course, that she’s in love, love, love with her former friend’s husband and that they are, now, engaged to be married. Porsha’s friend, Falynn Guobadia, who Porsha brought on RHOA and introduced as her friend a couple of seasons ago, was married to Simon Guobadia, who has also made an appearance on the show. During the show, Falynn and Porsha seemed to be really cool, since Porsha was all in this lady’s house, eating her snacks, smoking her hookah, and splashing around in her pool. I don’t know about anyone else, but, to me, that’s friend-type behavior, on the surface, anyway.
It was reported that Simon filed for divorce from Falynn back in January of this year. Now, fast forward to now, and he and Porsha, who has clearly called it quits with her son’s father, Dennis, are making their relationship public. And from the Mother’s Day pictures, she appears to be pregnant. Again, it’s too murch, child!

This is a total mess. If Porsha was really calling herself a friend to Falynn, this is a low-down dirty way of showing it.
But, is it all real, or just for the show? Or, just for the check?
We know that this last season of RHOA was hanging on by hairs of its chinny-chin-chin. The ratings had nearly slipped and drowned. Avid viewers and fans of the show were complaining about every episode being “dry”. It seemed like the storylines just weren’t giving what they supposed to have gave.
Now, here, pops up this scandal. And that’s not the only thing.
It has been reported that Porsha is about to get a 3-part Bravo special about her life. The special is supposed to start shooting this summer.
It wouldn’t be the first time—and it won’t be the last time— that these reality stars have brewed up a scandal for a TV show.
But, either way, this is definitely not a good look for Porsha.
