After some tough love from his famous family, entertainer Jaden Smith, the 23 year-old son of superstar Will Smith and Red Table Talk‘s leading lady, Jada Pinkett-Smith, has decided to put on some much-needed weight.
It wasn’t an easy road to put on the additional ten pounds; but Jaden made it a priority after his family sat him down back in 2019, after his Coachella performance, to voice their opinion on how they felt that he was “wasting away”. Will even expressed that Jaden just didn’t look healthy and the family really started to worry.
“I was able to work with the doctors and really get my vitamins and get my supplements and protein shakes,” Jaden disclosed on a recent episode of Red Table Talk. “That’s half of my diet. It’s like a password that I have to find to my body. I’m like, 10 pounds heavier now at this point.”
Jaden, who’s a vegetarian, also revealed that he just wasn’t a big eater. He would sometimes forget that he hadn’t eaten all day.
It appears that Jaden has been able to maintain his current weight, in addition to putting on some muscle.
