Kanye West Announces That ‘Donda 2’ Will Not Be Available On Any Streaming Platforms

HE’S AT IT AGAIN, Y’ALL!

Kanye West wears all-black outfit and face mask after fight with ex Kim Kardashian over daughter's birthday party

Kanye West announced through his social media platforms that his upcoming album, Donda 2, will not be made available to stream on any streaming platforms. No Spotify, no Apple Music, No Tidal.

Instead, his latest project, which is slated to drop next week on 02.22.22, will only be able to be accessed through his own platform, Stem Player.

Is this your first time hearing about Kanye’s Stem? Yep, mine too.

Anyway, Stem Player appears to be some interactive musical device that looks similar to a mini UFO and plays music. But, not only does the device’s appearance stand out, so does the price.

Apparently, consumers would have to pay $200 to listen to Kanye’s new album. There has been no word on whether he’s including all his previous albums on the Stem for our listening pleasure for that price.

Usually, I’m down for innovation, but I don’t know about this one. I’m pretty sure that several of his die-hard fanatics will purchase the Stem. I’ll wait to see what they have to say about the experience.

Who’s ready for Donda 2?

What do you think?
